How much will it cost me?

There are two parts to the payment structure:

A one-off set-up charge

A fixed monthly fee

There are no hidden charges.

Set-up charge

Initially, a one-off payment of £3000 is all you pay to have your own personal Local Area Link website set up for you.

Your £3000 covers the set-up and configuration costs of:

A fully hosted, fully featured community website application complete with a very powerful and comprehensive Site Manager that will enable you to control all aspects of your website through a normal internet browser.

If you currently run a local magazine and have an existing style or 'identity' we will incorporate this, and your magazine name if required, into the banner of the website so that it ties-in and looks familiar to your community.

If you would prefer your own website domain name we will also register a .co.uk name of your choice.

In addition you will receive a set of 50 personalised shop/car vinyl window stickers designed to identifiy the advertising business to your website, as well as information and tips on how to attract advertisers and how to promote your website.

Your monthly fee

Once your website is live you will pay a monthly fee of £150. (You have up to 60 days as a free setup period to populate and promote your website before you start paying the monthly fee). The monthly fee is fixed at £150 and will not rise according to your sales. It covers:

Continued business-hours telephone and email support plus 24/7 automated online support in the form of a members-only dedicated intelligent knowledgebase system that you can access and post questions on at any time.

You will also have secure access to an online forum where you can exchange information and tips with other Associates running their own Local Area Link websites.

Set-up and configuration of a personal email address.

Live visitor web-stats so you can see how many people are visiting your website and where they come from.

Continued maintenance, updates and enhancements.

We are committed to the continual development of the Local Area Link website system. As more and more people get involved in running Local Area Link websites, we plan to introduce even more exciting features.

Some of these features or enhancements will be added to your website automatically whilst others, designed to create new or enhance existing revenue streams for you, will carry an installation/configuration charge so as not to tie you in to features you do not think are suitable for your website or area.
