What skills/How much time do I need?

Your Local Area Link Site Manager software is so user friendly that you do not need extensive experience of using computers. If you can use email, surf the web and use word processing applications, you will find it easy to manage all the content of your own Local Area Link website.

If you enjoy meeting people, you will enjoy collecting local news, selling advertising space and taking a full and active part in your local community. However, if you are a shrinking violet, we have to be honest with you - this opportunity probably isn't right for you.

You decide how much time to spend 

Most of our current Local Area Link Associates work from home at times which suit them and their families. However, at first, when setting up your site, you will need to invest quite a lot of time, going out and meeting potential advertisers, meeting people who run clubs and gathering news to populate your website.

This, the first month or two, is an exciting time but, as your website becomes established, you will find that you will need to spend less time on the basics and will be free to spend more on the other community aspects of your website such as adding tips and additional news items.
